Being no expert I would comment as follows; more than happy with the quality and speed of the scanner. Would rate the machine a 4 out of 5 (5 being top mark). It is effiecient, quiet, quality is first class and speed is efficient. I suppose most importantly is that, operationally, it is so easy to use!
Only criticism is the documentation feeder part. Is rather flimsy with the result that documents can go a skew
