I was so pleased with the performance and value of the i55 that when I wanted to upgrade it I only considered the i65 and again I'm very pleased with its even better performance. It works particularly well with the Read Iris Pro 9 Corporate Edition for the copying of documents accurately. Rating 5 for performance and value for money.

The Kodak i65 is a combined sheet-feed and flatbed scanner. The initial set-up to a USB port was simple and fast and I was scanning within a few minutes. The sheet feeder and the ability to scan both sides of a document simultaneously makes for quick and easy scanning. Although it comes with its own competent image manipulation software I married it with PaperPort 11 Professional to take advantage of some additional manipulation features. I now intend to purchase ScanSoft OmniPage for its OCR capability in order to provide a complete scanning, image manipulation and OCR package. I recommend the i65 for its small footprint, ease of set-up and scanning speed.
