I'm pleased to confirm that we are very pleased with our Kodak i40 scanner and are putting it to very good use. It's quick and the imaging on screen is of an excellent quality.
The only drawback so far is that the ADF Pad seems to wear out quite quickly (after around 15,000 pages)

I would rate the scanner as a 5 (excellent) for the job we have which is scanning client files onto the computer database.
