If I scan my documents, are the images legally admissible? Can I destroy the paper originals?
Yes, documentary evidence will always be accepted by a court or other legal body.
Whether or not the documents will be trusted will depend upon the specific circumstances.
Is it likely that the authenticity of the document might be challenged?
Can you show that your scanned copy is a 'true copy' of the original paper document?

We wanted to outsource the scanning because we haven't the time to scan internally?
Outsourcing or bureau services tend to be expensive and you can loose control of how the documents are indexed. Our scanners operate at a minimum of 40 pages per minute so it doesn't take long to input files. The time saved in retrieving documents will easily outweigh the time required to input data.

Can we search for a specific word or phrase on a document?
Using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) you can do precisely this - a very useful tool.
Can this type of equipment be leased?
Most of our clients lease the solution provided. This means that there is no lengthy 'pay back' period and you can start saving immediately.
